Course Description
In this course you will be introduced
to the fundamentals of business. This will include a brief overview of
what a business is, different types of ownership and organizational structures
as well as what makes a business successful or not. We will be
looking into what makes a successful Entrepreneur and what Marketers do.
We will also be covering a brief overview of economic theory and how it
relates to business as well as accounting and finance.

Course Expectations

be respectful during class.
- A major component of this
course is technology, the more you respect the equipment, the better
equipment the school will get. No Food or Drinks please.
- Arrive on time and be
prepared to work, just like in a job, continued lates will have a negative
impact.
- Participate fully and
positively.
- Working in business requires
that you be able to work both independently and with others.
- Always put in your best
effort!
- The main reason that people
fail this course is because of lack of effort.
- If you are absent, it is
YOUR responsibility to make up all missed work. Assignments will be
available on-line so you will be able to see what you have missed and
email the teacher if needed.

20% - In-class work (assignment, homework
completion)
20% - Tests and Quizzes (this course will
have several tests with many quizzes)
40% - Projects (the KEY focus of this
course)
20% - FINAL Quiz and PROJECT!
